The Blue Dogs' Nemesis

I have been made aware of a secret group of Democrats (even more secret than the Illuminati, which you can learn about in this paranoid screed), which has formed in opposition to the Blue Dogs. They call themselves the Red Dog Democrats, or Clifford Dems for short. Clifford Dems take their name from a ridiculously huge red dog of mysterious provenance (his mother must have been very pain-tolerant: see this clip).

The plan for the Red Dogs is to get health care reform passed by having Clifford remove the Capitol Rotunda with his mouth and then continuously lobby for the passage of the bill, using his booming big dog voice to echo through the halls of Congress.

Whether the plan works is dependent on convincing Clifford's friend Emily Elizabeth to allow her dog to be used for political gain. She's concerned he'll just become another McGruff.
